This contest is open to all ages and various categories.
Applications must be submitted in order to participate.
Auditions will be held on June 22nd and July 20th from 7 PM until 9 PM at the Kennedy Park Gazebo.The judges in attendance will decide who qualifies for the final round. The final performance for qualified contestants will be held on August 25th at the Casino Theater.
During the Casino Theater show, the winner will be selected by the audience, who will vote by putting money into the bucket of the act they liked most.
The act with the most money at the end of the show will be declared the winner. The winner will receive half of the money in their bucket, as well as a seat of honor during the 2011 Vandergrift Light Up Night.
Note: Acts must be kept clean and PG appropriate.

Rules:
1. Contestants will be allowed a maiximum of 5 minutes including setup and teardown of any props or other equipment you need.
2. An sound technician and sound system will be available.
3. For anyone singing with CD accompaniment:
a. You must provide the CD or tape of your music to the
sound tech. before 7 PM of the evening of your audition
b. Recorded music used must be free of any vocals
including backup vocalists.
4. Hotdogs and refreshments will be sold at both auditions.
